Monica Canilao arrived in Milwaukee on Sunday to start her install for her upcoming show What's Lost is Safe at Sky High Gallery. ML4U's bff Faythe Levine shares a bunch of pictures she took on day one and two of the install. Along with what looks to be like a super, extensive installation there will also be original work and prints available. You can see more of the install on the gallery's blog or Faythe's flickr page.
A little blurb from Faythe on Sky High's blog:
"Working on a week long installation like this is such an amazing experience. There are so many variables to consider and as the curator having trust in your artist is a part of the process. Personally, Monica is the perfect person for me to work with on an unplanned install since I believe her work is consistently beautiful down to the most minor detail."
